Platforms can be finished in natural - oak stain with polyurethane overcoat
Each platform is custom cut to your latitude and is constructed from 5/8" Baltic Birch. It has adjustable pads for leveling or latitude adjustment.
The platform will add 5 1/2 inches to the height of the scope. The scope can either be set on top of the platform or directly attached, replacing the ground board.
The platform is powered by a single 9V battery which lasts approximately 32 hours.
It has a hand controller with two slew speeds. An automatic shut off stops the table when it reaches its end of travel.
An illuminated reset lever disengages the drive wheel to assist resetting the platform. Flip the lever and gently slide the platform top over to restart the cycle.
Platforms now come with all stainless steel fasteners.
A handle has been added so the platform can be carried like a suitcase.
